how it started...

it all began with a suitcase full of dreams—and kintamani coffee. every time I flew from home to the netherlands, I'd pack bags of what the locals call kopi bali, unable to resist the rich aroma and deep flavors that reminded me of home. as a (new wave) coffee enthusiast and weekend café hopper, my curiosity eventually led me into the world of specialty coffee. that’s when everything clicked. I started seeing more roasters spotlighting the stories behind the beans—the farmers, the origins, the craft. it was more than just coffee; it was culture, connection, and untapped potential. that’s when the spark hit: what if I could turn my love for coffee into something special? :)

cademo coffee was born from a deeply personal connection to Indonesia — a country rich not only in culture and biodiversity, but in coffee heritage that spans generations.

over time, that appreciation grew into something bigger: a calling to share Indonesia’s exceptional, often-overlooked coffees culture with the world. from sourcing and exporting to roasting and brewing, we stay hands-on at every step. every coffee we share supports smallholder farmers and honors the traditions behind each harvest. our collection is carefully curated, and crafting it is an ongoing journey — one full of discovery, experimentation, and the joy of sharing special coffee.
